The TLS process that we use is currently the safest data encryption method. uses SHA 2-256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), thereby complying with the highest security standards. AlphaSSL by GlobalSign issues the SSL certificate and the key exchange method used is DHE_RSA (2048 bit).

Using SSL encryption means that your data is scrambled before you are transferred to the Riu-Shop server, so that a third party cannot reconstruct it. By using this method we ensure that customer data is sent only to the server that has requested the data. When the customer data reaches the Riu-Shop server this is checked to see if it is complete and unaltered. On many browsers there is a small lock symbol in the address bar, indicating encrypted data transfer.
